Main responsibilities 1.Project Initiation and Research 1）Lead and deeply participate in biological research in the field of diseases, identify unmet clinical needs, and evaluate emerging technology platforms. 2) Be responsible for the project initiation research, scientific argumentation and competitive landscape analysis of new drug projects, write project initiation reports, and provide key decision-making basis for the company's R&D strategy and pipeline layout. 3）Continuously track the latest scientific research progress, patent trends and market competition intelligence in related fields domestic and overseas. <2.New> Target/Technology Discovery and PCC Research 1)Lead the discovery, evaluation and biological validation of new targets/technologies, and design and implement key proof-of-concept studies. 2)Lead an interdisciplinary team (including chemistry, pharmacology, etc.) to optimize and screen lead molecules until preclinical candidate compounds (PCCS) are established. 3)Deeply clarify the mechanism of action (MOA), pharmacodynamic (PD) characteristics and preliminary safety signals of the candidate molecules. 3.Preclinical development 1） Manage all research work from the PCC stage to the application for clinical research (IND). 2）Participate in the formulation and implementation of a comprehensive preclinical development plan, including but not limited to: in vitro efficacy and mechanism studies, in vivo disease model efficacy evaluation, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic (DMPK) studies, as well as safety pharmacology and toxicology studies that support IND applications. <4.Team> and Strategic Leadership Form, cultivate and manage an efficient team of early-stage R&D scientists. As the core leader of the project, I closely collaborated with departments such as pharmacy and chemistry, pharmacology and toxicology, clinical studies, and registration to ensure that the project goals were achieved on time and with high quality. Participate in the formulation of the company's overall R&D strategy. Job Requirements 1.Educational background Possess a doctoral degree in biological sciences, pharmacology, medicine or a related field. <2.Work> Experience 1）At least 8 years of early-stage drug development experience in pharmaceutical or biotech companies, with full-process successful experience from target discovery to preclinical candidate compound (PCC) establishment and IND-enabling research. 2）Those with complete project experience in globally renowned multinational pharmaceutical companies (MNC) or leading domestic innovative pharmaceutical enterprises are preferred. 3）Have experience in team management and cross-departmental project management. 3.Knowledge and Skills 1）Proficient in disease biology, molecular and cellular biology, and pharmacological principles, with a profound understanding of at least one core disease area such as tumors, autoimmune diseases, metabolism, or the central nervous system. 2）Proficient in various in vitro and in vivo experimental techniques and models, with outstanding abilities in experimental design, data analysis and problem-solving. 3）Be familiar with the regulations and guiding principles of drug research and development, and understand the basic process and requirements of IND application. 4）Possess excellent scientific judgment, strategic thinking and forward-looking vision. 5）Outstanding communication, expression and leadership coordination skills in both Chinese and English.
