Tax Director/Senior Director

Responsibilities • Assist in oversight of the tax compliance function in China( include Hong Kong) and key overseas jurisdictions • Manage tax accounting and financial reporting for the group, including PRC entities, and lead tax-related SOX controls and documentation to support statutory and internal reporting requirements • Partner with local teams and the head office tax function on tax filing and compliance matters • Provide tax guidance and structuring input for potential M&A transactions and proactively identify and manage tax issues • Support / manage ad hoc projects as required Requirements · Qualified accountant with over 15 years solid experience, including audit and tax, of which with solid exposure in BIG 4 firms is preferred · Hands-on experience in PRC tax is a must; with strong exposure to Hong Kong tax and international tax matters e.g. transfer pricing, cross-boarder transactions and group structuring · Proven experience in multi-national corporations, in a managerial role including experience of tax accounting · Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a definite advantage · Must be a self-starter, with the ability to prioritize competing initiatives; ability to work both independently and within a team · Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese including mandarin, and good communication skills
