The position holder is a direct report to the Director Global Core Manufacturing Engineering Product Airbags and is entrusted with elaborating manufacturing standards and manufacturing concepts in the area of Airbag manufacturing (Folding, Assembly) Your Responsibilities Define and implement global manufacturing standards , including processes, technologies, and equipment concepts Develop and optimize scalable manufacturing solutions , considering regional requirements such as cost, volume, and automation levels Drive innovation in manufacturing , including automation, modularization, and flexible production concepts Identify and implement process improvements, standardization, and best practices across global sites Lead the development and continous improvement of Standard P-FMEA and process guidelines Collaborate closely with Global Product Engineering to drive Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and Design for Automation (DfA) Coordinate global cross-functional teams and experts , ensuring alignment across regions and business units Manage core manufacturing engineering projects , including planning, prioritization, cost estimation, and execution Foster global knowledge sharing, benchmarking, and continous improvement culture Your Profile College/university degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Robotics or related field Strong experience in manufacturing engineering, process optimization, and industrialization Significant experience (>5 years) within Airbag manufacturing Proven track record in automation, production technologies, and global projects Experience in cross-functional and international collaboration Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills Comfortable with functioning in a global matrix operating environment Business fluent in English , any other language is a plus (especially Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, German, Romanian, Portuguese) Open to frequent global business travel What we offer Opportunity to shape global manufacturing strategy and standards Work in an international, innovative environment High level of responsibility and impact on future manufacturing concepts Collaboration with global experts and leadership teams
