About The Role
Serviceline Overview Audit Quality and Professional Practice (AQPP) is committed to collaborate with our people in the Audit Practice to strengthen the following four pillars of audit quality. TSLD will transform our audits through upskilling our people and creation and deployment of insightful data and analytics and efficient audit enablers that standardize, simplify, centralize and automate our audits. Key Responsibilities • Direct delivery central team to perform data cleansing and pre-processing, and review the results • Interpret teams needs for D&A analysis: Analyze data tables that are available from the client, identify and prove relationships among them and map out how they can be joined; propose D&A routines that identify outliers which help to address the concerned risks of material misstatement • Consider which software tools (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI) are going to be best candidates for processing the D&A routines • Build visualization dashboards to investigate / present results from the audit data analyses • Explain what the software has done to analyze the data to the teams • Assist teams with required documentation to evidence the results of the D&A routines and support the integrity checks on the data Experience & Background • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics or Information Technology-related disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Systems, etc. • 1+ years experience relating to Data & Analytics with experience in visualization • 1+ years experience relating to Python (R programming is a plus) • Proficient in and working experience with at least one visualization tool (such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI) • Data analytics experience with VBA, SQL is preferred • Knowledge in process mining is a plus • Strong understanding in BI/data warehouse concepts • Team player and ability to work well in a dynamic environment • Experience working in a consulting environment preferred • Prior industry experience in retail, healthcare, logistics or TMT is preferred • Strong analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data, identify core issues and investigate, evaluate and reach appropriate conclusions / solutions • Be curious with data, open-minded to new business technologies, able to explain complex data concepts to people from a non-technical background • Good English language skills to facilitate leveraging of materials and routines form other KPMG member firms and participate in global meetings.
