About The Role

Transactions Services is a dedicated team of professionals providing financial due diligence assistance, pricing adjustment and other deal support services. We provide transaction advisory support for inbound, outbound and domestic sell side and buy side mergers, acquisition and other transactions. Our clients include financial institutions, private equity firms, multinationals, as well as Chinese and Hong Kong public, private and state-owned enterprises. Key Responsibilities Extensive role providing origination, analytical, structuring and execution support. Specific tasks will include: - Assisting with client targeting and internal and external marketing - Supporting the origination and assessment of deal opportunities, preparation and presentation of related materials - Providing support of specific transactions through the M&A deal life cycle including preparation of teaser, information memorandum, documentation and investor dialogue - Financial modelling and analysis of comparable companies and transactions - Analysis of trends and issues in the M&A markets Experience & Background Potential candidates will approach the role with energy, drive and the ability to take the initiative, and exhibit the following attributes: - Undergraduate / master degree in finance/accounting/business related - CPA, CFA and/or other relevant qualification is preferred - At least 1 year’s corporate finance experience acquired with high quality banks, M&A boutiques or professional firms and corporations is preferred - Excellent analytical, accounting and financial modelling skills - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Capital IQ and other financial tools - Strong understanding of the M&A process, financial markets, and corporate finance principles - Demonstrated experience of supporting client engagements and proposals - Team player with ability to work with different parts of the Firm and in high pressured environment and desire to build enduring relationships with market peers - Excellent written & oral presentation skills - Fluent in English and Mandarin; additional language capabilities are a plus About KPMG At KPMG China, we are committed to being an equal opportunity employer, with zero tolerance for any form of discrimination against any persons.
