Key Responsibilities •Research and summarize both China and global trade and customs related regulations, covering classification, valuation, country of origin, bonded operations, export control and sanction, and other related aspects; •Assist in advising on a wide range of global supply chain related matters to clients including but not limited to designing global supply chain structure, advising tax implications, identifying potential operational obstacles during implementation phase, assisting with providing practical solutions with solid technical basis; •Liaise with both local and international tax service lines to tackle global supply chain issues, including but not limited to corporate tax, transfer pricing, outbound / inbound tax, personal tax advisory and etc.; •Work with external client on a daily basis to obtain factual information, come up with technical assessment and practical solution tailored based on the factual pattern; •Assist with preparing training materials for new joiner, sharing credentials among national team, and drafting proposals tailored for new opportunities. Experience & Background •Candidates must have at least 2-5 years’ experience in PRC tax advisory, preferably in fields of global supply chain, legal or similar •Excellent financial and business analytical skills, including a degree in Accounting / Finance / Law or any other business-related discipline •Ability to think strategically / critically, and to analyze complex business transactions to identify key issues/risks •Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines •Candidates must have strong English and Chinese language skills (written and spoken) •Candidates must have excellent project management, research, analysis and report writing skills •Candidates should be globally minded, dynamic professionals with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and handle multiple engagements and client service teams at a global level •Candidates with accounting/tax-related professional qualifications are preferred About KPMG At KPMG China, we are committed to being an equal opportunity employer, with zero tolerance for any form of discrimination against any persons.
