Beijing - Assistant Manager, Tax DAM Outbound

Responsibilities Advise private equity and corporate clients on inbound and outbound M&A Transactions and reorganization projects, including tax due diligence projects on domestic and foreign targets, transaction structuring and documentation. Advise clients on tax effective holding and financing structures, investment strategies, post deal restructuring and integration. Work with and assist other senior members of the China M&A tax practice in preparing tax due diligence and tax structuring advice reports. Team with other professionals to win new marketplace opportunities and engagements, and contribute to the growth of the KPMG China tax practice. Assist with the infrastructure of the China M&A Tax team, including marketing materials and knowledge management. Experience & Background Excellent financial and business analytical skills, including a degree in Accounting / Finance / Law or any other business related discipline Candidates must have 3 to 5 years’ experience in tax advisory, preferably in domestic and/or cross-border M&A and greenfield investment transactions for corporate and/or private equity clients in various industries Ability to think strategically and to analyze complex business transactions to identify key issues/risks Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Candidates must have strong English and Chinese language skills (written and spoken) Candidates must have strong presentation and communication skills and confidence in dealing with domestic enterprises Candidates must have excellent project management, research, analysis and report writing skills Candidates should be globally minded, dynamic professionals with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and handle multiple engagements and client service teams at a global level About KPMG At KPMG China, we are committed to being an equal opportunity employer, with zero tolerance for any form of discrimination against any persons.
