Responsibilities •Communicate proactively with clients, employees, and KPMG member firm colleagues, while managing expectations and ensuring high-quality delivery of customs and international trade engagements; •Provide strategic advisory on duty optimization strategies, interpret and apply international trade regulations, with deep expertise in global trade policies and China customs regulations. •Coordinate and contribute to special projects, including supporting partners and senior managers on proposals, business development initiatives, and ad hoc works; •Manage engagement financials by meeting practice financial targets, ensuring timely and accurate billing, and monitoring engagement profitability; •Oversee preparation and review of technical deliverables, ensuring timely and satisfactory deliverables. •Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members, while overseeing workflow, resource allocation, and utilization to ensure efficient project execution. •Stay abreast of relevant global trade policy developments and contribute to thought leadership, internal knowledge sharing, and practice development initiatives. Experience and Knowledge •5 years (or above) of relevant experience in global supply chain, legal or similar industry •Strong technical knowledge of trade and customs considerations •Possess presentation skills with an excellent command of spoken and written English.
