KPMG China's Global Transfer Pricing Services is a team of economists, tax practitioners and financial analysts that are part of the global KPMG network of firms, all dedicated to providing clients with transfer pricing advice worldwide. This team offers comprehensive economic advisory and transfer pricing services to multinational companies spanning planning, compliance, defense, and operational transfer pricing. We not only advise clients on how to design and optimize their value chain in cross-functional collaboration with the corporate tax and customs teams, but we also help review and formulate transfer pricing policies and assist in defending the client’s transfer price arrangement to the tax authorities. Clients are provided both with strategic transfer pricing planning to meet their evolving business strategies and assistance in complying with challenging requirements imposed by the transfer pricing regimes of China and beyond. Responsibilities - Assist mangers in identifying work opportunities both through an internal and external network of contacts - Gain client exposure through ongoing projects and developing and maintaining these relationships integral to our business - Provide support to the management team to ensure effective and timely execution of business initiatives and projects. - Manage the junior staff on active projects with the aim to support and defend a client’s inter-company pricing for their supply chain - Initiate ideas and provide strategic guidance regarding the tax and business efficiency of a company’s transfer pricing arrangement - Collaborate with other KPMG departments to deliver multi-faceted solutions to address client issues - Responsible for supporting and/or managing the tax relationships involved for various markets, including all aspects of support on tax audits, transfer pricing engagements and licensing and supply chain issues Requirements - Excellent financial and business analytical skills, including a degree in Accounting / Finance or any other business related discipline - Analytical, strategic mindset with strong numerical skills - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional service environment (transfer pricing service experience in Big 4 preferred) - Excellent multi-tasking skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Strong communication skills, and the ability to explain complex issues clearly to non-experts - Ability to make clear recommendations based on a sound assessment of advice and information gathered - Strong presentation skills with an excellent command of verbal and written English and Chinese - Good MS office skills, especially MS Excel and MS Powerpoint About KPMG At KPMG China, we are committed to being an equal opportunity employer, with zero tolerance for any form of discrimination against any persons.
