Service Line Overview KPMG Deal Strategy (formally deal pillar of Global Strategy Group) is a joint practice by KPMG Deal Advisory and Strategy & Operations Consulting. We work with leading corporate companies and institutional investors, and provide end to end strategy and operations advisory to them across deal life-circle to maximize the deal value. We participate in various deal type, both in buy-side and sell-side (including minority investment, majority investment, buyout, merger, business spin-off, joint venture) together with KPMG deal professions such as financial advisor, financial due diligence and valuation professions, as well as sector experts from Strategy & Operations practice, such as consumer goods, automotive, financial service, life science. Key Responsibilities - Support the structuring and execution of transactions, including equity fundraising, Joint Venture Set-up, Acquisitions, and Disposal - Conduct detailed financial / pricing analysis using mainstream pricing methodologies, including net asset approach, discounted cash flow and comparable analysis - Analyze and monitor changes in dynamics and regulatory environment of selected sectors in PRC - Prepare pitch books, information memorandums, etc. - Assisting client in preparing transaction documents - Assist clients in due diligence exercises - Participate in client meetings Experience & Background - Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Japanese. Japanese as working language is must - Excellent academic background preferably with a professional qualification in accounting/ statutory valuation/Financial analysis. Holders of CPA are preferential - Minimum of 1 years’ accounting/financial analysis / investment banking related experience acquired from prestigious banks, professional firms and corporations - Solid corporate finance knowledge and skills on valuation/pricing techniques, DCF, Comparable Company / Transaction Multiples, etc. - Good analytical, problem solving and presentation skills About KPMG At KPMG China, we are committed to being an equal opportunity employer, with zero tolerance for any form of discrimination against any persons.
