About The Role
JOB SUMMARY This role reports to the General Manager, Series by Marriott, and acts as the key supporting role to assist the General Manager in driving operational excellence, brand localization, project delivery, owner relationship management and revenue growth tracking across Greater China portfolio. Candidate with a background from the revenue cluster is highly preferred, who possess solid understanding of hotel revenue segments and business mix. The incumbent will extract, consolidate and analyze system data, deliver in-depth analytics and actionable insights to boost revenue and overall hotel performance. The role supports the GM to translate Series by Marriott brand strategy into operational reality, facilitate the iteration and optimization of the brand’s operating and business model in Greater China, and provide full-range strategic coordination and daily administrative support as required to ensure consistent delivery of the brand promise: simplicity, authenticity, and reassurance. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 5+ years’ experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, event management or front office area required OR • 2-year graduate degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 7+ years’ experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, event management or front office area required • Language requirements: o Fluency in English is required (speaking, reading, and writing) o Fluency in Chinese is required (speaking, reading, and writing) Skills and Knowledge • In-depth understanding of hotel revenue segments, business mix and core revenue metrics; capable of conducting professional revenue analysis and identifying revenue growth opportunities. • Capable of independently extracting, cleaning and consolidating data from hotel operation and revenue systems; skilled in building analytical reports and performance dashboards. • Advanced computer skills with proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint for report development, dashboard creation and presentation delivery. • Strong data-driven thinking, problem-solving skills and logical analysis ability to diagnose performance gaps and propose improvement solutions. • Excellent verbal and written communication, cross-functional coordination and liaison skills when working with internal teams, corporate departments and external partners. • Fully understands Series by Marriott brand positioning, core values and global standards; able to support brand localization and operational model rollout. • Well-organized, detail-oriented and strong time management skills to handle multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines. • Proactive, self-motivated and adaptable to fast-paced working environment; able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Open-minded, respectful of cultural diversity and committed to promoting company culture and values. • Hotel experience beyond revenue management preferred. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Revenue & Hotel Performance Analytics • Drive in-depth analysis on revenue segments, business mix, pricing architectures, channel distribution, and promotional ROI to maximize RevPAR and overall profitability. • Design and deploy advanced performance dashboards and analytical models to facilitate proactive, data-driven decision-making for senior leadership. • Continuously monitor portfolio-wide KPIs, identify performance gaps and market anomalies, conduct root-cause analysis, and execute strategic corrective actions. • Evaluate the efficacy of existing pricing and channel strategies, uncover revenue uplift opportunities, and deliver actionable, data-backed insights to optimize the overall revenue structure. Brand Standards & Operational Execution • Support the General Manager to implement and iterate the scalable operation and business model of Series by Marriott in Greater China, assist in embedding brand core values including simplicity, authenticity and reassurance into daily workflows. • Assist in rolling out localized operational guidelines converted from global brand standards, monitor on-property compliance status, and collect field feedback for GM’s reference. • Compile regional market insights, operational best practices and implementation challenges, and share with GM and Global Series by Marriott team to support brand evolution. • Uphold brand integrity in daily work, ensure all operational activities align with brand promise and the tagline Regionally Created, Globally Connected. End-to-End Brand Localization & Guest Experience Support • Assist the General Manager with brand localization work in Greater China, collect guest feedback, market trends and local cultural characteristics to support the optimization of guest journey and service experience. • Coordinate with Global and local Brand Management teams to align brand vision, experience pillars and execution requirements across all properties. Project Pipeline & Stakeholder Coordination • Support the GM to liaise with Development, Legal, Asset Management and Brand teams to follow up new hotel and conversion project progress. • Assist in pre-opening preparation including system integration, brand training and team readiness tracking for new properties. • Prepare meeting materials, performance reviews and data reports for owners and investors; maintain project pipeline tracker, clarify milestones and conduct timely follow-ups. • Support daily communication with owners and key stakeholders, feedback inquiries and issues to the General Manager in a timely manner Strategic and Administrative Support • Draft, revise and polish business presentations, analytical reports and internal memos. • Serve as a critical communication bridge between General Manager, corporate functional teams and external partners. • Complete ad-hoc projects and assignments designated by the General Manager.
