About The Role

Job Summary The Sr Manager, Finance Business Partner (FBP) plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making across the organization. This position acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial insights, performance analysis, and recommendations to drive business outcomes. The Manager partners cross-functionally to support planning, forecasting, reporting, and process improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals and governance standards. The job location will be in Shanghai. Candidate Profile Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred. Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including managerial or supervisory responsibilities. Experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering; hospitality or service industry experience is a plus. Minimum Job Specifications Strong financial acumen and analytical thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, PeopleSoft, Power BI) preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and drive change. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and timeliness. Fluent in English and Mandarin Core Work Activities Serve as a finance business partner to assigned functions or projects, providing analytical support and financial guidance. Lead monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and dashboard development to support business visibility and decision-making. Prepare and review financial documentation including budgets, forecasts, and business cases. Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and governance principles. Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling, scenario planning, and business reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, compliance, accounting, and project management to ensure financial alignment. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation in financial operations. Monitor and manage project-level financials including cost tracking, billing, accruals, and reconciliations. Provide proactive insights and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and mitigate financial risks. Participate in global and regional initiatives, sharing best practices and leveraging tools across teams.
