Associate Director/Senior Manager-SAP Consulting-Beijing/Shanghai/Shenzhen Reports to: Associate Director and above Position Summary: The Associate Director /Senior Managers will be expected to participate in delivering complex solutions to a diverse client base including multi-national, state-owned and private entities. The ability to team with others, synthesize information and develop solid conclusions is a must. The extent of practice development activities will be dependent upon level of experience. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction and oversight for multiple, complex SAP implementation projects or a large managed service portfolio. Build and maintain senior executive (C-level) client relationships, act as a trusted advisor on SAP and digital transformation strategy. Lead business development efforts: identify opportunities, shape proposals, lead pitch presentations, and negotiate contracts. Define and drive the practice's strategic goals, service offerings, and go-to-market plans. Be accountable for the financial performance (P&L) of the assigned portfolio or practice area. Foster a culture of excellence and innovation; lead talent acquisition, development, and succession planning for managers and consultants. Champion practice development by introducing new methodologies, tools, and thought leadership in the SAP ecosystem. Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and add significant value to the client. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science. An advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, SAP certification) is preferred. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in SAP consulting, with a proven track record in leading large, complex full-cycle implementations. Extensive experience in selling and delivering SAP solutions across diverse industries. Demonstrated ability to synthesize market trends, client needs, and firm capabilities to develop compelling service offerings. Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams. Outstanding executive presence, with superior communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is essential.
