About The Role

A career in Corporate Tax services offers an opportunity to play a pivotal role in assisting clients with their tax responsibilities while strategically managing the effects of taxation on their overall business operations. As a member of our dynamic team, you will provide expert advice on local and international tax issues across various industries, acting as a strategic consultant for comprehensive business and tax solutions. With the introduction of the Global Minimum Tax (Pillar Two) in Hong Kong, our team is leading the way in helping multinational clients transform their tax operations. As a member of our team, you will act as a bridge between complex new international rules and practical business solutions, helping clients navigate this new era of taxation. Key Responsibilities Assist in performing impact assessments for MNE clients, including calculating Effective Tax Rates (ETR) and identifying potential top-up tax liabilities under IIR and HKMTT Support clients in preparing for Pillar Two disclosures and GloBE Information Returns (GIR), ensuring data accuracy across various jurisdictions Assist with clients to refine their tax structures and internal data collection processes to adapt to the requirements of the Pillar Two Portal and new reporting standards Assist in resolving technical queries and managing communication with the Inland Revenue Department regarding Pillar Two implementation and safe harbour applications Stay at the leading edge of OECD guidelines and local legislative updates to provide timely, actionable advice that drives client success Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field Professional certification from a recognized accounting body (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is advantageous Prior exposure to BEPS 2.0 is a must Demonstrated project management skills and a strong business acumen Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin
