As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to: Key Responsibilities: • Client Advisory: Deliver comprehensive tax advisory services, including tax planning, compliance, and strategy development. Address complex tax issues and provide insights to enhance tax efficiency. • Research and Analysis: Perform in-depth research on tax regulations and industry trends to offer informed recommendations to clients. Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports to support tax strategies. • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple tax projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery. Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project execution. • Collaboration and Leadership: Foster a collaborative environment within the team. Mentor junior staff, offering guidance and support to enhance their skills and career growth. • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to relevant tax laws and regulations. Identify potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively. • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of changes in tax legislation and industry practices. Contribute to the development of new services and enhancement of existing processes. Requirements: Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting or a STEM subject • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred. • 3-5 years of relevant experience in tax advisory or a related field. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong ethical standards and commitment to upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct. Language Requirements: • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is preferred.
