About The Role
Job Profile Summary At PwC, our people in Assurance focus on providing independent reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as whole are free from material misstatements as well as providing business advice to the clients. In performing the audit of financial statements, they perform a risk assessment of material misstatement of financial statements, understand the internal control of the company, evaluate the appropriateness of accounting polices adopted and compliance with regulations and the overall disclosures in the financial statements. Job Description As an Associate, you will work as part of a team of assurance professionals. PwC Professional responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to: Supporting the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements Working closely with clients and team members in order to provide quality assurance services Maintaining professional skeptism all the time Obtaining an understanding of the risk assessment process, business processes and the internal control of the client and performing the testing of the key controls identified Discussing the results of testing of controls with senior associate and manager and communicating recommendations for control improvement, if any Performing testing to obtain sufficient audit evidence for the transactions selected Reporting results of testing to senior associate and manager and discussing the impact on the assurance work, if any Performing testing of the disclosures in the financial statements, taking into account compliance with legal requirements Using appropriate technological tools developed by PwC when performing the assurance work Requirement Bachelor's degree or above Qualification in HKICPA is desirable; other CPA qualification is also considered 1-2 years of auditing experience in CPA firms, preferably in Big 4 firms Developing an elementary understanding and skill level in audit analytics and visualizations, applying these to assess risks and enhance the quality of risk assessment and substantive testing Demonstrating maturity, strong initiative, and the ability to work effectively in a team Possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua/Cantonese), including technical and business writing, documentation, and presentation skills Proficient in computer applications Willingness to travel Disclaimer Please be advised that we do not recognize any unsolicited resumes from search firm recruiters in the absence of a prior written agreement.
