You’ll handle issues on operation management, strategic partnership, employee relations and emergency responding. Job Description The Human Capital team is currently seeking a junior HR Business Partner; this role is responsible for managing the day to day needs of HR to ensure we align and meet the strategic business objectives, manage the communications within the Line of Service and our employees, as well as to support the people initiatives of Firmwide Corporate Services practice. The position serves as a consultant/advisor to management on human resources-related issues. The successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with other HR functional teams including Centre of Expertise and HR Shared Services and business management, the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR functions to deliver value-added service to the designated Line of Service to achieve business objectives as well as to align with the strategies of Firmwide Corporate Services practice. Support functional leaders/ managers in the implementation of people priorities and contribute to its successful and effective implementation through insightful data-driven business analysis Be a change agent, share HR best practices and support the team in adopting new practices and initiatives, including new HR initiatives/ processes/ systems/ data analytics where appropriate cross business and teams Support the day-to-day people-related matters of Hong Kong Region Provide effective people management guidance, coaching and tools to assist functional leaders and teams in sustaining people development and employee relationship Support annual performance & talent management processes including development planning, workforce planning, budgeting, periodic performance reviews, and the annual year-end performance evaluation, talent identification, promotion and reward decisions. Conduct exit interviews and focus groups to bring the insights to enhance the people strategy Support the resolution and management of selected Employee Relations cases and people related issues. Contribute to people-related initiatives and practices working with different HR teams and Business Support on strategy and/or ad hoc projects as required Reports to the Regional People Partner /HR Manager Key relationships: executives and staff, HR functions and leadership team, and other internal functions across China/Hong Kong Bachelor’s degree holder in business, social science, or related discipline At least 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in professional services or multi-national environment Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under deadline with quality deliverables Proven ability to work in a collaborative manner with people at all levels from diverse background/culture with strong client-focused mindset Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to work with quantitative data Demonstrates high learning agility and able to work in dynamic environment with flexibility and agility Passionate in creating impact through change/transformation initiatives/projects Strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills to enable communications and analysis Proficiency in spoken and written English and Cantonese Chinese essential, Mandarin Chinese preferred
