About The Role
Activities: Develop and manage product portfolio, place strategy, advise on pricing by solid marketing insights on competitors and assist promotion to achieve segment business growth, including MCO and Auxiliary segments. 1. Segment Marketing - Oversee the auxiliary oil product portfolio and formulate annual strategies for relevant segments within the auxiliary & MCOcategory, while executing targeted marketing initiatives to drive business expansion. - Systematically monitor and report competitor marketing trends and strategic developments on a regular basis to refine the auxiliary & MCO product assortment and maintain competitive advantage. - Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities aligned with regulatory requirements, technological advancements, and competitive dynamics in the Aux&MCO segments. Continuously track market intelligence and competitor activities, conducting comprehensive analysis of product portfolios and competitive positioning to inform effective marketing strategies. - Execute comprehensive marketing strategies through close collaboration with trade marketing and AFM to accelerate business growth. - Lead segment-specific marketing campaigns and develop comprehensive marketing toolkits to facilitate TLC B2B and B2C operations for Aux & MCO offerings. - Propose new product development requirements and recommendations to outsourcing suppliers based on market dynamics and industry development trends. 2. Budget management - Provide budget recommendations and implement effective control for key Aux & MCO marketing activities or events to ensure optimal resource allocation. - Monitor the correlation between sales performance and expenditures (including A&P, OPEX), optimize return on investment through data analysis, and ensure achievement of established performance targets. - Assist team leaders and management in completing annual budget preparation, providing professional support and data-driven insights. 3. Sales Performance and Profitability: - Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics including volume, GMVC, and uGMVC for Aux&MCO, working closely with supply chain and finance departments to drive continuous profitability enhancement. - Lead cost optimization initiatives and support strategic pricing management for Aux&MCO lines to maximize margin performance. 4. Collaboration and Customer Experience: - Collaborate closely with sales and technical teams to optimize auxiliary oil product formulations and performance. - Partner with sales, supply chain, and technical teams on Aux & MCO development and optimization initiatives, while providing support for customer complaint resolution to enhance overall customer experience. 5. Interface with HQ and Regional Teams: - Maintain regular communication with HQ and regional teams to stay updated on the latest market trends, strategies, and competitive landscape developments. - Engage consistently with HQ and regional counterparts to gather and disseminate best practices within the Aux&MCO segments, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Qualifications: -What is the required qualification level for the position? Level 6 - Bachelor's Degree -What are the technical skills required? 1.Basic understanding of marketing sense 2.Product and project management skills <3.Data> analysis and business insights 4. Cross-functional collaboration 5. Industry knowledge in lubricants -What are the soft skills required? 1. Adaptability and learning agility 2. (specify language and level) Excellent both in oral and written English and Mandarin, well skilled in presentation & report related tools -What is the required level of experience for the position? Minimum 5 years of working experience, at least 3 year in marketing function or relevant role, experience in product management or lub industry is preferred -What HSE-related skills and knowledge are required? Has a basic knowledge of HSE, knows and applies Golden Rules in his/her line of work, knows how to report an HSE event.
