About The Role

Performs experiments in histology and immunostaining, imaging (Confocal and MP) Maintain laboratory supplies, logs, and record books; keep laboratory supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt. Maintain genetically modified mouse colonies, which includes rodent work, and related experimentation (dissections, injections of biological compounds, minor and major surgeries). Perform RNA extraction/ real-time PCR, protein extraction/ Western blot and cell culture. Collection, preparation, and cataloging of tissue samples. Knowledge, Skills Abilities: Knowledge of basic molecular and cell biology techniques. Ability to collect experimental data and handle animals. Self-motivated and readily learns and adapts to new techniques. Works effectively and efficiently both independently and as a member of a team. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, timely report experimental progress or problems. Ability to follow the instruction and keeping detailed experimental records. Knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques.
