Banquet Server I (Catering)

Set-up banquet rooms and events as assigned including pre-event set-up, service and clean up of all assigned functions. Serve food and beverage according to the Banquet Event Order, ensuring all event meet or exceed client expectations. Maintain proper food and beverage presentation. Work to ensure guest satisfaction. Scrapes and sorts dirty dishes, silverware and glassware and operates dishwashing machines. Maintains cleanliness of dining room and kitchen areas; sweeps, mops and vacuums floors; cleans dishes from tables and cleans dining room tables and chairs. Responsible for cleaning of employee and public restrooms and operates power cleaning equipment. Operates and cleans food service equipment. Inventories area and completes required forms. Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work area. Additional duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques and standards. Skills in using cleaning products and equipment. Physical Requirements Occasionally lift a maximum of 50lbs.
