About The Role
Design and execute research projects investigating epidemiology, chronic disease prevention, and outcomes related to variation in the burden of disease in population subgroups. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of clinicians, statisticians, and public health researchers. Mentor graduate students and research assistants. Author manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications and present findings at scientific conferences. Contribute to grant writing and funding applications. Lead grant submissions, such as supplements, pilot awards, and career development awards. Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of statistical software (R, SAS, or STATA). Skilled in scientific writing and communication. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects. Data analysis, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
