About The Role
Sets up and replenishes serving lines and serves customers in food service unit. Serves items following portion control. Performs food preparation tasks such as sandwich and salad making and beverage preparation, following written standardized recipes. Cleans and processes fruits and vegetables and prepares various salads, according to written standardized recipes. Weighs, labels and dates all food items: stores in designated areas. Operates and cleans food service equipment. Inventories area and completes required forms. Cleans countertops, walls, shelves, drain screens and floor mats. Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work area. Stocks as needed. Greets and serves customers in a friendly courteous manner. Takes suggestions and passes them onto the supervisor. Actively solves problems wherever possible. Works harmoniously with coworkers. Additional duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques and standards. Skills in using cleaning products and equipment. Physical Requirement: Occasionally lifts a maximum of 50lbs.
