About The Role
Teach one section of IBE 101 Introduction to Integrated Business and Engineering Design in the Fall and one section of IBE 102 Introduction to Integrated Business and Engineering Projects in the Spring. Support the development of the course and the associated projects. Prepare and deliver instructional materials and guide/lead class activities once per week in the Fall semester at the University of Arizona Main Campus in Tucson, AZ Ensure successful delivery of the course's learning objectives through the creation and dissemination of students assessments (e.g., quizzes, homework, exams, projects, etc.) Establish and adhere to grading rubrics to ensure students understand grading expectations Provide timely feedback to students on their submitted assignments Maintain course materials in the University's chosen Learning Management System. Gather and report learning outcomes assessment to department advisor Assist in the professional development of students as appropriate Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Subject matter mastery in engineering and business/entrepreneurship Command of Learning Management System (D2L/Brightspace) Ability to provide students with feedback on assignments, projects, and exams
