About The Role

Conduct scientific data collection and analysis for assigned research projects, exercising judgment to select and adjust methods as needed. Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and data, and provide data to the PI to support grant submissions, publications, and presentation of results. Compile research data and generate statistical analyses, performing preliminary analyses interpretation to support the research team. Determine and acquire specialized parts, materials, equipment, and services required for laboratory operations, and maintain inventory and associated bookkeeping records. Train and guide students and staff in the operation of equipment and performance of technical procedures. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Cell culture, molecular biology, biochemistry experience is preferred. Computational, imaging, and/or mouse handling experience would be helpful. Organizational and time management skills are essential to balance both laboratory maintenance duties and experimental research projects.
