About The Role

Coordinate efforts to create and encourage adoption of resources for K-12 and undergraduate educators to integrate phenological data collection and/or analysis into their classroom activities. Co-lead efforts to recruit, engage, and retain participants in Nature's Notebook (duty shared with USA-NPN Partnerships Projects Manager). Co-lead efforts to recruit new Local Phenology Programs and support existing Programs (duty shared with USA-NPN Partnerships Projects Manager). Support Efforts to improve access and understanding of USA-NPN phenology data resources, tools, and materials. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Creative thinker who can bring new ideas and enthusiasm to a long-running program. Outstanding oral and written communications skills. Skilled in writing for print and digital platforms. Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship building skills. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently as part of a dispersed team. Familiarity with USA-NPN phenology observation protocols. Familiarity with botanical and ecological concepts and terminology.
