About The Role

Role Manager Mobilization Location Any d istrict or s tate h eadquarters of Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh , Odisha , Madhya Pradesh with frequent travel to blocks and villages in the state Reporting to Na tional Mobilization Head Key Role Lead all mobilization activities in the state for: Direct placement of trained women/girls in company’s factories. Sourcing would be done from all possible skill training agencies (govt, non-govt.) and vocational training providers Company’s Skill Academies and Centers at home state/district – sourcing of girl and women candidates from various sources such as Educational Institutions, Women Collectives, Villages, Youth Group, Villages, Vocational Training Institutes, Coaching Centers etc. for: Hire and build a team of Mobilizers at Community/Block level. Guide and facilitate their work and over see their day-to-day operations Work closely with the respective skill vertical team and plant officials; and ensure time-bound supply of mobiliz ed women /girl candidates ; their counselling, screening and enrollment in the skill training program (majorly Sewing Machine Operators – SMO) Build and leverage relationship with all required stakeholders: External Stakeholders : Relevant govt. entities into skill development on Apparel and Textile (Samarth, PMKVY, DDUGKY, RSETI) Institutions working with women groups – Livelihood Mission, Women Collectives Education & Vocational Institutions Internal S takeholders within the company – Plant officials, Marcom Team, HR, Corporate Affairs All required monitoring, reporting, documentation Min. Qualification Masters/PG in Social Work/Rural Development/Business Management from premier Management Institute IIFM/IRMA/XISS/XIMB/TISS. Preference will be given to professionals with consulting experience from firms such as EY, GT, KPMG, Deloitte Essential Experience Min. 7 years of Work Experience with at-least 5 years in working on projects related to Women Empowerment through Livelihood and Employment at grassroot level Must have built and led a team of development professional In-depth understanding of various government and non-government institutions and their network working on women empowerment, education of youths/adolescents – village/community level to block, district, state and national level Strong network and professional relationship with various stakeholders in the skilling /livelihood/education eco-system Preference would be given to candidates who have directly designed and implemented large scale skill development projects Professional Attributes Ownership, Pro-active, Integrity, Hard-Work, Dedication and Passion Essential Skill-set Leadership, Team Work , Networking & Partnership, Result Oriented with proven ability for quick turnaround, proven ability to work with minimal guidance , Go-getter , Good Command Over Local Language (Speaking)
