Your future role at a glance Location: Indianapolis, IN Facility: Ascension, St. Vincent Hospital Department: Interventional Radiology Schedule: PRN #NextGenHealthcare How you'll make an impact in this role Diagnostic Expertise: Conduct a diverse range of organ and body scans to provide essential diagnostic aid. Precision and Safety: Prepare and position patients accurately, manage technical parameters, and rigorously follow all radiation safety guidelines. Advanced Procedures: Perform specialized imaging, including angio and complex vascular/interventional procedures, in collaboration with the medical team. Protocol Management: Administer contrast media and medications within scope, monitor patients during procedures, and recommend protocol refinements. Ensure Integrity: Maintain unwavering compliance with all regulatory agency standards. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
