Your future role at a glance Location: Nashville, TN Facility: Saint Thomas West Department: MedTele Schedule: Part-time | Weekend Option How you'll make an impact in this role Deliver comprehensive acute care to diverse Med/Surg patients while managing continuous telemetry monitoring to quickly identify, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythm changes. Administer specialized cardiac medications safely and effectively, monitoring patient responses and vital signs to optimize cardiovascular stability and recovery. Execute personalized care plans by carrying out physician orders, performing continuous clinical assessments, and managing post-acute recovery needs to drive positive patient outcomes. Lead seamless care coordination alongside cardiologists, hospitalists, and discharge planners to guide smooth transitions from acute treatment to home or step-down care. Empower patients and families through proactive education on heart-healthy lifestyles, medication management, and warning signs to reduce hospital readmissions. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. What additional requirements you'll need Must obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification for this unit within the first 3 months.
