P&S Transformation Manager

Role : Transformation Manager Location : Hosur, Factory Reporting to : Digital Owner Team name : Transformation About the Team and the Role The Transformation team at Ather is responsible for strategizing the digital roadmap for the entire Manufacturing organization, including Vehicle & Battery Assembly, Quality, Warehousing, Logistics, and SCM. We focus on building strong systems and tools that align with business processes while identifying automation opportunities to drive efficiency. This role is for a strategic leader who will act as a business partner and technology evangelist. You will be responsible for guiding transformation leads, managing stakeholder priorities, and ensuring the delivery of stable, scalable digital solutions across the manufacturing ecosystem. Responsibilities Strategize the digital roadmap for the Manufacturing organization by collaborating with Product Owners in Factory, Warehouse, and Logistics. Provide guidance and support to Transformation Managers and Leads, overseeing the final prioritization of stakeholder requirements. Champion stakeholder requirements and business criticality with the Information Systems group to ensure accurate implementation. Build a technology roadmap focused on scale, efficiency, automation, and quality improvement while evangelizing tool adoption. Own the design and documentation of Factory SAP (PP, QMS, WM, MM), MES, and ARIBA systems, ensuring stable ecosystem integration. Guide development teams to implement solutions following product development standards to meet specific business needs. Support business continuity by resolving bugs and issues related to design, development, or system integration. Drive the adoption of Industry Best Practices and leverage new product features to optimize SAP capabilities and business processes. Experience and Qualifications Bachelors/Masters Degree in a quantitative discipline, e.g., Engineering. 10 to 14 years of Digital Transformation experience specifically within the automotive 2W/4W industry. Implementation experience in SAP (PP, QM, WM, MM), Ariba, and MES. Must Have Competencies Strategic design and documentation of SAP modules including PP, QMS, WM, MM, and Ariba. End-to-end business value chain mapping for Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Logistics. Business process designing using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and VSDiA frameworks. Quantitative analytical modeling for ROI assessment and business value delivery. Good to Have Competencies Integration of Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing solutions within a large-scale factory environment. Application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization and waste reduction. Development of comprehensive system PRDs from complex stakeholder problem statements.
