Role: Frontend Developer Location: IBC Knowledge Park, Bangalore Reporting to: Software Engineering Manager Team name: Web technologies and Intelligence About the Team and the Role The Web technologies and Intelligence team at Ather is responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining the business-critical applications, web architectures, and customer-facing experiences that power our platform. This role is for a Frontend Developer who will take complete ownership of the architecture, design, and delivery of high-quality web applications, ensuring top-notch user experience, performance, and scalability. Responsibilities Own the architecture, design, and end-to-end delivery of features for business-critical applications using React.js and Next.js. Implement Micro Frontend patterns to develop modular, reusable, and efficient code that ensures scalability across the platform. Drive performance optimization and SEO best practices to achieve lightning-fast load times and high search visibility. Design, develop, and unit test applications while collaborating with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into high-quality code. Instrument code to produce necessary metrics, logs, and traces, ensuring continuous enhancement of customer experience and execution. Evaluate, decide on, and integrate new frontend technologies, frameworks, and solutions. Mentor and nurture team members through peer reviews of solution designs and code to maintain a high bar for quality. Work closely with the QA team to define system testing flows and seamlessly integrate RESTful APIs for complex frontend data orchestration. Experience and Qualifications BE, <B.Tech> degree in Computer Science or a related subject 4-6 years of relevant experience Must Have Competencies Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript for building complex web applications. Deep architectural knowledge of React.js and Next.js, including hands-on experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG). Expertise in responsive web design using HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, and advanced layouts like Flexbox and Grid. Proven experience with Git version control and modern build tools such as Webpack and Vite. Ability to seamlessly integrate REST APIs and handle complex application state and advanced routing configurations. Good to have Competencies Familiarity with Strapi for content modeling, API fetching, and headless CMS integration. Experience working with Storybook and building or maintaining centralized component libraries. Understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms tailored for frontend deployment.
