About The Role

A JSOC, Infrastructure Analyst ensures the smooth operation and security of an organization's network infrastructure. They continuously monitor network systems, servers, and applications to maintain optimal performance. They swiftly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues, including outages and performance degradations. They manage network incidents to ensure timely resolutions with minimal operational impact. Routine maintenance tasks, such as hardware refreshes and software upgrades, are part of their daily duties. Additionally, they maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and incidents, collaborate closely with IT teams, and provide technical support to end-users. The role demands a strong understanding of networking technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities rs. Responsibilities: Infrastructure Monitoring: Continuously monitor network systems, servers, and applications to ensure optimal performance and availability. Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues, including outages, performance degradation, and hardware/software failures. Incident Management: Respond to and manage infrastructure incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations. System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as hardware refreshes, IOS code upgrades, and deploying new devices in the data center. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, incidents, and resolutions as per company policies. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and provide feedback to management and engineering teams on network performance and issues. Customer Support: Provide technical support to end-users and act as an escalation point for Tier 2 support groups. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications: Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are highly desirable. Experience: Prior experience in network monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of core networking technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of an organization's infrastructure and requires a combination of technical expertise and strong communication skills.
