Assistant Engineer - Sustainable Drainage

About The Role
As an Assistant Drainage Engineer, you'll have basic understanding of the water Sector to join our specialist Drainage Design team in Bengaluru. The role offers excellent opportunities for a candidate seeking to progress their career and looking for experience, training and support with their development and future career progression.
The successful candidate will gain experience in the development and delivery of drainage projects through various stages of the design process, from feasibility to planning/detailed design and onto construction.
The candidate will be required to support the preparation of designs and specifications under the supervision of more senior staff.
- Preparation of designs in accordance with standards and protocols
- Support lead engineers in technical checking and design reviews
- Assist Lead engineers during design review meetings and progress meetings with Clients
- Contribute to fee estimates, staff utilisation forecasts and defining project scopes
- It is most desirable if the candidate has basic experience of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow/Infodrainage.

Key Competencies / Skills
Mandatory Skills
- A minimum of two years’ experience within a consultancy environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding and working knowledge of UK standards
- Basic working knowledge of MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow/Infodrainage, AutoCAD and aptitude to develop in Civils3D. Added proficiency in usage of Bentley Openroads, Microstation, SewerGEMS would be an advantage.
- Proficient in use of standard MS Office software
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent analytical science subject.
