Summer Intern – Nuclear Projects

About The Role

The Role Asite is looking for two interns to support our Product team on a live nuclear-sector project. You will help review, document and analyse selected GBE-N requirements, translating stakeholder needs into clear product and process outputs. No previous Business Analysis experience is required. Location: London Duration: 4 weeks Team: Product Vacancies: 2 Type: Paid internship As part of Asite’s commitment to increasing female representation in STEM and the nuclear sector, we particularly encourage applications from female students, who remain underrepresented in this field. What you'll do Support the gathering and documentation of business and user requirements. Attend selected requirements meetings, workshops and internal discussions. Translate stakeholder needs into user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria. Create process maps for current and proposed workflows. Review requirements against existing Asite functionality. Identify gaps, dependencies, risks and areas requiring clarification. Maintain a structured requirements tracker. Support product demonstrations, walkthroughs and internal presentations. Assist with testing and validating proposed solutions. Produce a final summary of findings and recommendations. Qualifications You must be: Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or postgraduate student. Studying a STEM subject relevant to the nuclear sector. Able to demonstrate a clear interest in pursuing a career in nuclear. Relevant subjects may include: Nuclear Engineering or Nuclear Science Physics or Radiation Physics Mechanical Engineering Electrical and Electronic Engineering Civil or Structural Engineering Chemical or Process Engineering Materials Science or Engineering Systems Engineering Control and Instrumentation Engineering Chemistry Mathematics Computer Science or Software Engineering We are also looking for: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to organise complex information. Confidence working collaboratively and asking questions. What you'll gain Practical experience working on real nuclear-project requirements. Exposure to Business Analysis methods and product development. Experience creating user stories, process maps and acceptance criteria. Insight into how digital platforms support major infrastructure projects. Guidance and feedback from Asite’s Product team.
