Position

Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, instruments, and plant utilities.
• Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of motors, panels, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
• Perform calibration of instruments and maintain calibration records.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, statutory, and electrical standards.
• Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
• Analyse equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and QA departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Maintain maintenance logs, SOPs, and documentation.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.

Experience

6-8 years in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or process industry.

Skills

• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial instrumentation.
• Familiarity with calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of electrical safety and GMP documentation.
