PT - Biology Lab Technician

SUMMARY OF FUNCTION: Assists full time Biology Lab Technician with general lab duties, including lab set-up and clean-up and general lab maintenance duties. TYPICAL DUTIES: Serves students. Responsible for cleaning and restocking of all lab equipment, tools, glassware, and related items. Helps in maintaining lab organization and cleanliness in biology prep lab and classrooms. Assists with lab set-up and break-down as needed. Returning all tools, equipment, and supplies to their proper locations. Assists with ordering, receiving, inspecting, distributing and inventory of all supplies, materials, equipment for biology laboratory classes. Assists in monitoring/controlling use of all biology labs, equipment, and supplies to ensure security and safety. Support and participate in strategic initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
