PT Tutor I - Learning Services

Assists students with homework assignments, test preparation, study strategies, use of technology, or other areas related to coursework at Arizona Western College. Creates or prescribes appropriate supplemental learning activities based on assessment of student knowledge/learning gaps Creates supplemental materials for handouts or presentations/seminars; plans and presents workshops or based upon student needs, or upon faculty or supervisor requests Communicates regularly with supervisor and faculty member(s) through debriefing sessions Facilitates and/or participates in tutor training seminars May provide supervision of work-study/college payroll employees in absence of coordinator Provides information to the student body and/or public regarding the Student Success Center and/or Math/Writing Center through classroom visits, resource fairs, or other marketing strategies.Other duties as assigned.
