Tack Truck Driver – Local CDL (Home Daily) + Full Benefits

Drivers are home every night and only travel within a 75-mile radius of Atlanta. This is a safety-sensitive position operating in active roadway construction environments. Flexibility is required. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential. Work hours vary seasonally and may include early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends depending on paving schedules, weather conditions, and production needs. Day shifts during cooler months Night shifts during warmer months Essential Functions: Operate tack truck safely in roadway construction environments Apply asphalt tack/emulsion using spray equipment Load, transport, and unload heated materials (up to approximately 300°F) Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues Support paving crew operations as needed Follow all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety procedures Requirements: Must possess a valid Class B CDL with Tanker (N) endorsement Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience required Tack truck experience preferred (training available for qualified candidates) Must meet FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements. We require all applicants to have a clean record in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. Must meet company Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) standards and FMCSA safety requirements Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and comply with FMCSA random drug and alcohol testing requirements.
