Your future role on our team To pursue project and client development in the Sept-Îles region, BBA wants to bolster its local multidisciplinary team. Working closely with our offices in Labrador City, Montréal and Mont-Saint-Hilaire, this team is actively involved in developing the Sept-Îles region and in executing various projects in the mining and metals, and energy sectors. In more practical terms, you’ll be called upon to perform site surveys and tests on high- and medium-voltage electrical equipment, as well as participate in the commissioning of new equipment and systems. You’ll also have the opportunity to help with various stages in project execution. Assist our industrial clients in their day-to-day operations in the field: troubleshooting, root cause analysis, staff training, shutdown planning and asset management Perform site surveys Participate in equipment testing and commissioning Perform short-circuit, power flow, protection coordination, arc-flash hazard studies and harmonic content analyses as well as steady-state and transient analyses in industrial power systems Design and read various types of electrical drawings Draft technical documents, calculation notes, specifications and reports Attend internal or client coordination meetings Participate in project management (costs, schedules, labour, etc.)
