Site Supervisor - Hydro Quebec Projects

Your future role on our team You’ll be part of a team specialized in commissioning electrical systems up to 735 kV. You'll be supported by experts at all times and exposed to a wide range of projects and environments to develop your technical skills in all areas related to electric power. In this role, you’ll lead commissioning projects, coordinate project teams and ensure their health and safety. Serve as the person responsible for the work for commissioning projects at Hydro-Québec facilities Implement safety measures Ensure the entire team complies with safety requirements and rules Perform various types of tests on power equipment Test circuit breakers, disconnect switches and power and instrument transformers Program and simulate protection relay settings Perform pre-operational verifications and commission new electrical substations Troubleshoot various electrical equipment (starters, motors, transformers, disconnect switches, cables, bus ducts, controls, etc.) Draft verification, anomaly and follow-up reports Ensure client satisfaction Draft technical reports and help prepare them Oversee project monitoring and management Guide new team members on electrical testing, equipment maintenance, safety and more
