Biologist or Technician, Natural Environment (70% or more fieldwork in remote areas)

Your future role on our team The Environment team is seeking a biologist or environmental technician to carry out field assignments to characterize and inventory natural environments as part of a wide range of projects, including energy, mining, infrastructure and linear projects. Carry out biological and ecosystem inventories in terrestrial natural environments Characterize natural environments such as forests, wetlands and wildlife habitats Help with environmental studies, including impact assessments, biophysical characterizations and environmental monitoring Collect, compile and validate field data Perform extended field campaigns lasting several consecutive days in remote regions Help write technical reports and field notes Work with multidisciplinary teams in biology, environment, engineering and GIS Apply standard occupational health and safety protocols
