Intermediate Estimator

Your future role on our team We’re looking for a dynamic, innovative and creative intermediate estimator who’s comfortable working in the consulting engineering industry. You'll actively participate in meeting the growing demands of our clients. As a team member, you’ll be responsible for tracking changes and estimating direct and indirect costs for projects. Help develop multidisciplinary estimates using engineering data, material quantity take-offs and/or scope of work documentation Organize estimates based on the work breakdown structure and established cost coding Help calculate hourly labour rates, productivity factors and indirect costs Prepare assessments for allowances, markups and miscellaneous costs Carry out material quantity take-offs Participate in value analysis exercises and trade-off studies Work closely with cost controllers and project planners Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimation methods, tools and procedures When assigned to a site, assess any changes made by the client and/or subcontractor to original contracts Prepare estimation execution plans and basis of estimate documents
