COBA, Center for Entrepreneurship - House Of Store Associate

House Of is a student-run women's clothing boutique located on Belmont Blvd adjacent to campus, opened in 2015. The store features alumni- and student-designed products and operates as a live retail environment where students manage real business operations across five functional teams. Associates do not simply staff the store. They run it. Serve as an active member of one of five teams: Finance, Merchandise and Inventory, Marketing, Events, or Management. Placement is determined after the interview; applicants may indicate a preference. Finance: Track weekly sales performance, manage the store budget, and support pricing and markdown decisions. Merchandise and Inventory: Make bi-weekly buying decisions using sales data, manage vendor relationships, and maintain product records in Clover. Marketing: Run the store marketing calendar across Instagram, flyers, and campus channels and track which efforts drive traffic. Events: Plan and execute in-store and on-campus events, coordinating logistics, vendors, and cross-team promotion. Management: Hold teams accountable, manage the staff schedule, and run Monday store meetings. Attend Monday staff meetings at 10:00 a.m. Attendance is required. Support daily operations including opening, closing, and in-store setup. Minimum 10 hours per week required.
