Library Services - Gallery Monitor

The Gallery Monitor’s purpose is to provide tours and sell tickets to the Gallery of Iconic Guitars and the Frederick Hart Studio Museum. Answer questions and monitor visitors of the gallery spaces. Remain in the gallery throughout the shift and keep a count of visitors. Handle ticketing for visitors. Be knowledgeable of the collection and gallery space. Notify supervisor of any issues or anomalies that may arise during a shift. Students must remain in the gallery until the replacement student worker is present. Notify on-duty staff immediately if there is a ‘no show’. The galleries are open from 10am to 4:30pm Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On Sundays from 1-4:30pm. Opportunities to work special events available.
