About The Role

Job Summary: The HR Business Partner (HRBP) – Manufacturing plays a critical role in aligning business objectives with employees and management at manufacturing sites. This role serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, acts as an employee champion, and drives HR initiatives that improve organizational performance, employee engagement, and workforce capability. Key Responsibilities: · Partner with plant leadership to understand business needs and develop HR strategies that support manufacturing goals. · Act as a change agent to drive organizational transformation and continuous improvement in people practices. · Support recruitment and talent acquisition strategies for production, engineering, and support functions. · Lead employee relations efforts by addressing demands, grievances, and other HR issues in a timely and legally compliant manner. · Manage performance management, coaching, and development processes for plant employees and supervisors. · Ensure compliance with labour laws, health & safety regulations, and internal HR policies. · Drive employee engagement initiatives, workforce planning, and retention strategies. · Conduct regular analysis of HR metrics (e.g., absenteeism, turnover, productivity) and recommend data-driven solutions. · Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires. · Provide guidance on organizational design, succession planning, and leadership development. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. · 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. · Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices. · Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement culture is an advantage. · Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization. · Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills. · Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools. Work Environment: · Role is primarily based on-site at a manufacturing plant. · Occasional travel to other plant sites or corporate offices may be required. · Involves exposure to shop floor environments and collaboration with production teams.
