Senior Manager - Economic Regulation.Regulatory Affairs MANCO

The Senior Manager: Economic Regulation in the Regulatory Affairs team will be responsible for supporting MTN Group, MTN’s platform businesses as well as MTN’s OpCos in identifying, monitoring, tracking and analysing competition and economic regulations at a national and regional level and supporting the aforementioned to respond to competition and economic regulation including both ex ante actions (usually taken by telecoms regulators) and ex ante actions (usually undertaken by competition regulators). They will also be expected to assess and analyse public policy, legislative and regulatory trends to provide insights to support regulatory risk management with a focus on competition related risk. The role will be required to provide guidance and help develop effective controls to mitigate risks associated with competition and economic regulatory issues.
