Junior Executive-Procurement

BOT VFX, a visual effects services company with global clients, is looking for a Junior Procurement Executive as a full-time Permanent role. The position is based out of Chennai.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting in sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services as per department requirements.
• Floating RFQs and collecting quotations from various vendors for comparison.
• Preparing comparative statements and cost analysis reports for vendor evaluation.
• Coordinating with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and specific delivery timelines.
• Creating and processing Purchase Orders (POs) within the company system.
• Following up with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolving any supply-related issues.
• Maintaining accurate procurement records, documentation, and an updated vendor database.
• Collaborating with internal IT, Admin, and Finance teams for requirement clarification and approvals.
• Supporting invoice verification and ensuring all documentation is ready for payment processing.
• Ensuring all activities comply with company procurement policies and procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain processes is required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic digital documentation.
• Ability to prepare cost analysis reports and manage database records.
• Good communication and negotiation skills to handle vendor relationships.
• Strong coordination and follow-up abilities to meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational qualities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Any degree holder is eligible for this position.
