Account Manager Specialty Coffee Benelux
Breville | Sage · Netherlands
About The Role
About the role We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager Specialty Coffee to join our commercial team and drive growth across the Benelux market. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-value specialty coffee accounts — including independent roasters, specialty retail chains, and on-trade partners — building long-term relationships and translating deep category knowledge into commercial results. You will work closely with internal marketing, supply chain, and trade marketing teams to develop tailored account plans and bring our specialty coffee portfolio to life at the point of sale. Key responsibilities include: Owning and growing a defined portfolio of specialty coffee accounts across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, with full P L accountability including net sales, front margin, and trade spend. Managing a multi-brand portfolio spanning Sage, Lelit, and Baratza within the specialty coffee channel — positioning each brand distinctly across equipment tiers, from entry-level grinders to prosumer espresso machines, and ensuring coherent range architecture at account level. Developing joint business plans with key accounts, setting clear volume, distribution, and visibility targets aligned to the annual commercial plan for each brand. Acting as a trusted category expert and advisor to buyers, leveraging market data (GfK, Circana, internal sell-out) to support ranging decisions and promotional planning across the full portfolio. Negotiating annual trading agreements, promotional calendars, and media/activation budgets, ensuring COOP accruals are planned, tracked, and utilised effectively. Identifying and converting new business opportunities within the specialty coffee channel, including online pure players, artisan retail, and foodservice-adjacent accounts. Collaborating with brand and trade marketing teams to execute in-store activations, product launches, and seasonal campaigns that drive visibility and conversion across all three brands. Monitoring sell-out performance per brand and reacting quickly to stock, pricing, or distribution issues that risk account health. Representing the full brand portfolio at trade events, customer meetings, and industry forums relevant to the specialty coffee community Salary €60,000 - €65,000
