Furniture Driver Location: RAF Croughton, NN13 5NQ Salary: Competitive plus excellent benefits Schedule: Perm/FT/ 39 hours per week Ready to impact a better future? As a Furniture Driver in our RAF Croughton team, you’ll play an important role in supporting United States Air Force personnel and their families as they move home. Through safe deliveries, installations, and collections, you’ll help create a positive experience during a significant life transition. Our work touches lives, and this role is no exception. From delivering essential household furniture and appliances to providing reassurance and practical support, you’ll help people settle into their homes with confidence. Your work has purpose, creating a positive impact for the communities and individuals we serve while maintaining the high standards our customer’s trust. What you’ll do as a Furniture Driver Safely transport furniture and appliances, ensuring items are loaded, delivered, and handled without damage. Deliver, position, and install household furniture and white goods in customers’ homes. Provide professional and courteous customer service during home moves and relocations. Support warehouse operations, including cleaning, testing, stock checks, and safe storage activities. Assist supervisors with delivery and collection schedules, including occasional overnight stays when required. Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure they remain safe, clean, and operational. Does this sound like you? Experience of regular driving commitments. Confident communicating with customers in a polite and professional manner. Able to work effectively as part of a team. Full clean driving licence. Physically fit and able to safely lift and move heavy items. Vetting and checks: This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance , which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments.
