Job description Would you like to work in a leading, high-tech and innovative company where we team up with our international colleagues to deliver advanced ground support systems to major space companies for pioneering ESA space missions? If “Yes” – we are looking for an Electrical / Electronics engineer to join our team in Prague, Czech Republic. As part of the Terma Space organization, you will contribute to a small, agile team in Prague working on projects in the Space / Ground Support Business Unit. The job will include a diverse range of tasks within an international team, primarily comprising system analysis and design of electronic/electrical systems composed of advanced instruments or custom designed electronics boards. Our projects comprise the design and construction of satellite testing systems including hardware and software, or Mission Control Systems used for large European space missions. This is a full-time position located in Prague, Czech Republic. Please note that applicants must hold a valid EU work permit. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will typically include: Analysis of system requirements, overall system design, estimation of work effort, selection of electrical components, designing tests, supervision of or involvement in hands-on implementation and testing, and creating documentation according to customer standards. Performing electrical measurements and test procedures with proper technical output documentation Mechanical and electrical assembly of rack-based or other systems including specialized cabling Other tasks may occasionally include design of printed circuit boards Qualifications & Competencies We are seeking candidates with an academic background in engineering and proven experience working within high-tech industries such as Space, Aerospace, Automotive or similar. The ideal candidate will have: A university degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in the electrical/electronics industry. A strong background in electrical engineering, hardware systems design, or PCB design Practical knowledge of electrical measurement systems, device automation, and related data processing. Holding the CZ Electrical-work Certification "regulation 194". Advanced proficiency in the English language (written and verbal). Strong organizational skills and the independence to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
