Quality & Product Assurance Engineer

Performing and/or coordinating Product Assurance (PA) and Quality Assurance (QA) activities within a wide range of assigned complex projects Definition and maintenance of project quality plans and requirements in accordance with customer needs in Product Assurance, Quality Assurance, Dependability and Safety Being the focal point for quality matters towards the customers and suppliers Planning, management, and execution of quality related activities according to specific project requirements in terms of materials, mechanical parts and processes, electronic components, and software Special focus on the consultation and assessment of the material selection for manufacturing, as well as on the evaluation and qualification of innovative manufacturing techniques for space applications Supervision and development support for the qualification of processes, as well as the preparation of respective documents (e.g., material and process specifications) Leading and/or supporting the project reviews / milestone reviews Support in subcontractors and suppliers’ assessment, preparation of project audit plans and participation and/or leading the project audits Support in quality management system maintenance and improvement, while adhering to the requirements of ISO9001 Quality Management System standard Leading and/or support the internal audits
